Bush marked his sixth Memorial Day as a wartime president with a somber speech at Arlington National Cemetery. Tell me Mr. President...how can you stand there looking so somber when you can do something to stop further blood shed of our soldiers??

Pirates of the Caribbean is a must see movie!!

Johnny throws down a brilliant performance along with the rest of the cast. I was really surprised at the job Keith Richards does playing Jack Sparrows father (even though it was only a 5 minute part). He won't be nominated for an Academy Award or anything but it was pretty good for an amateur. I would definitely recommend this movie...however, don't drink anything while you are there as it is a 2 hour and 45 minute flick. I thought my bladder was going to burst!!

Friday's Feast

Chedder is yummy but I like just about any cheese accept blue cheese....thats just nasty.

Every chance I get. I have to get up at 4:45am Monday thru Friday so Saturdays are MY days!

I forget things on a daily basis....Im 40!! I usually remember, eventually. I forget things at the grocery store ALL the time and dont remember until I'm either home or I need it.

I notice how rich the gas companies are getting when I go to the gas pump and I have to take out a loan to fill my tank.

Gas prices SUX!!

Did you ever notice that the oil companies use holiday weekends as an excuse to raise gas prices even higher??? We need to look at an alternative. When your paying almost $300 a month on gas, something is terribly wrong. OK....Hold on.....let me bend over while you guys stick it to me.

The figure includes seven military civilians. At least 2,780 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military's numbers.

Shrek the Third is a good flick....

It's not as good as the first but It has some laugh out loud comedy. I dont know who enjoys these movies more, the kids or the adults!

Let's not forget about our troops!

The seven American victims of a weekend ambush in Iraq were members of the 10th Mountain Division's 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Army officials in Iraq said Tuesday. The attack near Mahmoudiya, in a Sunni stronghold 20 miles south of Baghdad, left four U.S. soldiers and aIraqi translator dead, and three other soldiers missing. Please pray for them and their families.

Survivor Finale: Yau-Man Wuz Robbed!

Let's hope Dreamz stays broke for the rest of his life. If anyone ever deserved the Survivor win, it was Yau-Man, and Dreamz, in a stupid and selfish move, stopped him from winning by going back on his promise to give him his immunity necklace in the final four. Why stupid? Because he didn’t have a chance of winning after that lowdown move. He didn't even give back that obscenely large truck that Yau gave him in return for his word. (Btw, what’s the gas mileage on that sucker? Shouldn’t they be giving away Priuses at this point?)

At least the jury didn't reward this kind of behavior, as other juries have in past seasons. I'm all for outwitting people, but this wasn't strategy on Dreamz's part. It was pure greed. He wanted that truck, and traded in a "promise to God" to get it. Don't take a bribe if you're not going to honor it. If he had just said no to the deal, he could easily have won the million, too. Instead, Earl won with a unanimous vote. Phew. He was a strong second choice for the win and is someone with some sense of decency. As for Yau-Man, I'm seeing some endorsement deals in his future. Wheaties, perhaps?

Well, I guess we have to start somewhere....

Im a single mother that drives on California freeways...I have to be brave every day;) But, if you want one moment in time. I'd have to say when I seen my 16 year old son drive down the street for his first time after getting his license. That was pretty hard for me. It was the first time I had to let him go.
