Good advice but not necessary with me because I don't really like any of those. But I see why you should stay away from them.

Great TT, as always!

Or you could watch one and have a very cathartic experience, if you're a masochist! Me, I blubber watching commercials let alone movies. Perhaps Fatal Attraction wouldn't be a good one either, for a different reason.

The Notebook is the only movie where no matter how hard I try I still end up a blubbering mess by the end.
Great TT!

Oh... I hope you aren't going through a break up! That sucks. If not, great random advice! ;)

Happy TT!

I watched The Notebook again a coupld nights ago. I totally agree you shouldn't watch these after a break up. Definite tear jerkers. Happy T13!

So glad to see Urban Cowboy on your list because I *DID* see it during a break-up. When Bud puts both their license plates in the window at the end, I actually *SOBBED*! It's comforting to know I'm not the only one. (Thanks for visiting my TT)

I like all of those films. My list would probably include "When Harry Met Sally". Happy TT.

80% of those make me cry when I'm happy! I can't imagine watching them after a break up!

I can understand that--some of them are a little smarmy, aren't they?

Yeah.

Yeah those would suck especially the notebook. Or Titantic unless you hoped the other would...
Nevermind.
Have a great week!

I see what you mean. Misery might be a good break-up movie. It's lovely when she decks him with that ream of paper.

I can see why.
Hope it isn't happening to you.

Ah breaking up is so hard to do...

I love most of the movies on your list, but wow - watching them during a break-up?

Thanks for visiting my TT-13

Oh, good advice! Those would be awfully depressing if you're going through a breakup.

My preference at a time like that would be for action movies with lots of explosions and chase scenes. Nothing like a little mindless virtual violence to make me feel better.

I've seen and loved all of those movies, but you are absolutely right! Hope life is treating you good. Happy TT

Excellent advice as always! I’d add THE WAR OF THE ROSES as a film to avoid during ‘divorce’ … it was one I walked out of during mine.
Hugs and blessings,

But watching sappy love stories is theraputic for me. They give me faith that there's an even bigger love out there for me to find. ;-)

Yeah...those would definitely make you cry!

What a great list! I love most of those movies. Thanks for stopping by and our daughter almost signed up for the airforce. She was still a minor. It would have been a good thing. LOL
