... except of course when it does ;)

It has been exceptionally cold in California, though we haven't seen any snow yet in San Francisco. I did some in the Santa Cruz mountains the previous weekend.

No snow here for Christmas - was there enough to make a snowman? Happy Christmas, Judith

I have no idea where Yucaipa is, but I'd LOVE to see snow falling like this outside my window. Here, in FL, there is a little wind and we whip out the scarfs! I'd prob die if I ever see snow. Nice pic!

Happy Wednesday!

That's not snow! It's white dust. LOL. Actually, I hope you enjoy the novelty.

We're measuring snow in feet this year!

Merry Christmas!

I saw snow in Barstow once, does that count?

Here, it appears we're going to get a Wet Christmas rather than a White one. Nothing new about that really. Actual snow is pretty uncommon here. Ice on the other hand...

Yes, there was enough for a small snow man and no, I have no idea what a snow brush is...lol. And yes Mojo, snow in Barstow counts...they really got hit when we got this storm. Cajon pass was shut down for quite a while:)

Very weird weather year. You're having snow and in Indiana (where it should be snowing) we're getting rain and thunderstorms!

I didn't get a chance to visit until today - I hope you had a Merry Christmas.

It never snows in north Texas, either. We usually get ice.

Hi Lori--
my cousins live in Hesperia and were hit pretty hard too --! We are used to White Christmas's here, but in the desert? That was a shocker! And not only do they not have a snowbrush, but the town has no snow plows either!!

Lori said...

Hesperia is not that far from here, its straight up Cajon Pass. Our receptionist from work lives up there and couldnt make it down the mountain because of snow. Go figure!! A month ago, it was still 90 degrees. Only in Southern Cali!!

We had snow here last year but nothing like that! Fun when you know it isn't going to be around too long!
