TT #14

Thirteen things about my Mom. She is going thru a tough time right now with some medical issues and I want to dedicate this Thursday Thirteen to her.

1. She is strong and taught me the meaning of the word "Survivor".
2. She has always been there when I needed her.
3. She's beautiful.
4. Whenever I feel bad, she can always make me feel better.
5. My mother never pay's full price for anything. She is the sale "Queen".
6. She knows a little bit about everything, and alot about most things.
7. Her food is always delicious, even though she doesn't like to cook.
8. She has great taste in clothes. Everything she wears matches to a "T", including her purse.
9. No matter how many mistakes Ive made, she has never thrown them in my face or held them against me.
10.When I had a hard time making ends meet as a single Mother, she always came thru with new school clothes for the kids, gas for my car, and money for past due bills.
11.She was a young single mother and always worked hard to support me and my sister.
12.She is a powerful business woman. No one messes with her.
13.I couldn't ask for a better mother.

You are very blessed! I had a great Mom and Dad too, although Dad passed away in 1994. Mom's still around and at 71, calls all the time to check up on ME. I guess the good ones never stop being Mom, ya know?

I wonder if mom's realize the little things they do that make such a huge impact on our lives?

Sending healing vibes your moms way. I was a single mom for many years, raising four kids on my own. I couldn't agree more that we are treated with a total lack of respect. Kudo's to you!

I always hope that I will be able to carry on some of my mother's traits once I become a mother. Like yours, my mom had many wonderful traits as well.
