Sorry I didn't mean to linky twice! This is a really interesting list. So if #1 is true then how on earth did those everlasting gobstoppers in Willy Wonka work. I know...I'm over analyzing.

Thanks for stopping by and WOW I never knew some of these. Like that if your saliva cannot dissolve something, you cannot taste it.

Learn something new everyday.

And a lot of people use their skin more than their brain, too. :-)

ps sorry if my humor got a little too black for you.

#9 Explains why I don't understand foot fetishes....

I wonder why we blink more than men, is it because we're thinking twice as fast? He he, sorry, very interesting!

This a really cool list. I wonder who took the time to figure this stuff out. And I have to say that I'm grateful coffee dissolves 'cause I don't know what I would do with out my mojo in the morning.

And as for pupils dilating for those you love and hate, oh, now does that raise some interesting thoughts.

Great TT. Thanks for sharing.

Some of this I knew -- like the woman's heart beating faster. It's a size thing. Sort of like how much faster a hummingbird's heart beats when compared to an elephant's.

The rest are pretty cool. Heck, the whole list is pretty cool. What brought it on?

Sounds like you learned a lot working in the medical field. I bet they're sorry you're not there anymore!

Susan Helene Gottfried said...

Ummm... a kid with a stomach virus and general idiocy are combining to make me think you no longer work?

How's that?

Sorry. *blush*

You deserve a raise, though. You clearly know more than the average person.

lol I just sat there like an idiot putting my thumb beside my nose to see if that was true LOL.

Thanks for stopping by my TT btw!

Now that is an interesting list... The thighbones being stronger than concrete: cooooool! I can't wait to tell my hubby some of these!

Happy T13 ^_^

Interesting list. Of course most of the sense of "taste" is actually the sense of smell...

Anonymous said...

I like it! Although, I think some women blink enought for 20 people. :)

Happy TT!

Wow, I found these to be very interesting, especially the one about dimples. And I wonder what body hair has to do with the liver? Wierd, huh?
Have a great weekend.

What a great list!

Hmmm...pupils dilating when you look at someone you love and at someone you hate! Interesting! Proves the "fine line between love & hate" theory, doesn't it?

Wow, what fascinating facts! Thanks for sharing. I didn't know women blinked more than men! And fun, too, the nose and thumb thing -- as I read that, I laid my thumb alongside my nose to doublecheck! :-D

Happy TT, and thanks for visiting my blog!

Cool list. I love stuff like this.

7. If the average male never shaved, his beard would be 13 feet long when he died.
Does that mean those two dudes in ZZ Top will die soon?

Guess I won't have to worry about my dh's liver. LOL

Amy Ruttan said...

TOo funny about the hair thing, do you think that hair absorbs the extra liquor from the liver! ;)

Very cool TT! Thanks for dropping by mine.

Wow...some of those really freak me out! But I'm in a state of heightened enlightenment right now anyway.

Did you know that we're both Lori and we're both 40? If we didn't live on opposite ends of the country, I might think that we are the same person or something.

Wow...it's really really hot where you are! Your son is adorable!

Wow, cool human facts. Never know when they will come in handy. We're glad we are cats, its much easier. We come fully dressed. Catnip is like a uppers for cats. It makes them act crazy in a good way.

Definately interesting facts. Some of them I already knew, but others I was really astonished at. No I haven't seen premonition yet, but it's on my to do list.

#3 reminds me of my first year at university. Our lecturer in materials was an expert in concrete. I learnt a lot about it and spent several afternoons making things from it including little 10cm cubes. Then we got to break them in stress machines. Plain old concrete is really, really weak but once you add some metal reinfocing, chemicals, agregates and other stuff it can be really strong. If you really want to make it strong though the traditional techniques of blessing it with whisky or guiness can make it shockingly strong but no one knew why...

I measured my thumb to my nose immediately. Yeap! I'm normal! =)

This was a very interesting list! Though I'm not too fond of the feet thing...but still, informative! =D
