Is it the Amitville Horror? I never saw the movie, but I think the spooky in the title gave it away. It looks like Barry Gibb in front of the house!

I much prefer older horror movies to modern splatter and gore films.
Plot and tension are so much more entertaining than blood and guts, you know?

I remember as a teenager going out to the lobby of the theater and playing PacMan because I was scared!

I just watched a documentary on that house (and other famous movie/tv houses...The Mork and Mindy House is in Boulder...not too far from me.)
