Tough times for many. Are you in a safe place? We are ok in Ventura county just a whole lot of smoke in our eyes...

Ya, we are OK. We are right in the middle, about 45 minutes from Arrowhead and the Temecula fire in 2 different directions. Its awful, there is ash everywhere and some of my coworkers have lost their homes. Im in a safe place. Our hospital is overflowing with patients coming from the San Diego and Arrowhead area. Its a very sad day.

Yes I've seen this in the news. How are you doing? Are you affected? Hope not and hope you are all doing well.

I hope they can make some headway soon and the winds quit. Rain would be nice too. Have a great WW. :)

Sometimes it's easy to feel a million miles away. Until I see a photo like that. Goodness.

my outlaws (ex-inlaws...smile) live and work in Simi, Woodland Hills and Orange County. Thank God none of their homes have been threatened...but work and schools have evacuated.

stay safe!

Stay safe! I know it's Wordless Wednesday, but keep us updated.

And I just adore firefighters … and cops and soldiers and anyone else who willingly goes into harm's way on behalf of me and others they'll never meet. Heroes all!

The wildfire is all over CNN and I got cousins from San Diego, it's terrifying. I hope you're in a safe place.

Take care, my dear!
