Another U.S. soldier was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq, the military said Thursday, pushing the four-year death toll for American forces to 3,501.

Very sad. :( Although Canada is not in Iraq, we have lost a lot of people in Afghanistan. My human dad is an officer in the Canadian Forces, so all the deployed personnel and their families are in my daily prayers.

That really hits home. My husband is deploying in a little over a month. He recently found out that his best friend he made in basic died in Iraq. Thank you for honoring our soldiers. And thanks for visiting my blog. By the way it was a deck of cards gone through the washer & dryer lost in a pants full of pockets.
